Record: The second tallest residential building in the world.

Previous Record: When it was inaugrated , the Princess Tower Dubai was the World’s tallest residental building in the world. It held the record from 2012 to 2015. This record was broken by 432, Park Avenue, New York City subsequently.

When the Princess Tower was inaugurated it broke the previous record holder of yet another Dubai record of 23 Marina which stood at 392.8m (1,289 feet).

-The building comprises of 763 units, 957 underground parking bays spread over 6 floors and 8 retail outlets. The building development stands at 107 stories including basement floor and 100 levels above ground.

World Record. Longest Handmade Gold Chain – Dubai (UAE) : 2015

Known as the ‘Dubai Celebration Chain’ – the World’s longest hand-made gold chain was unveiled at the Deira Gold Souk Bus station to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the Dubai Shopping Festival‘s 20th Anniversary.

The 22-carat chain is 5Km long, weighs 240 Kg, took over 45 days and 100 craftsmen working 10 hours a day to produce the 4 million individual segments.

Its estimated value is Aed. 22 million . The event was organised by the Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group.

Certified by Guinness World Records.

Pre-booking: Shoppers got to pre-book sections of the chain between 8 to 26 grams.
